I really enjoyed this post and wasn'...Hi Marcy,
I really enjoyed this post and wasn't going to post here, but the more I have thought about it for the past few days the more I fetl like I should share with you.
I work at Coconut Bliss and while I don't know what brand you were eating I wanted to let you know that we are happy and taken care of. Our office functions more like a family than a staff, we often prepare and share lunches together, and hugs are at least a twice daily occurance. We make living wages and have insurance as do the people who work in the plant where our ice cream is made. Luna & Larry have visited the farm where our coconuts are grown in Thailand and have also visited our agave farm in Mexico.
We've put a lot of thought into making Coconut Bliss a desert that people felt good about eating, because it's what we wanted. Like yourself we all think long & hard about the food that goes into our bodies and want to eat things you can regonize and point at in the world somewhere.
So I'll step off my soapbox now, but I wanted to let you know that you're not alone in thinking about your food. We do it too :)Kileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00561544437572556772noreply@blogger.com
